Do you offer warranties on your work?

Yes. We stand behind the quality of our workmanship. Warranty coverage may vary depending on the product or service provided. If we install new hardware or replace a lock, key, or other component, we’ll explain any applicable manufacturer or workmanship warranty before the job is completed.

How long will it take the technician to arrive?

Arrival times vary depending on your location, traffic conditions, and our current schedule. When you call, we’ll provide an estimated arrival window, and your technician will contact you if there are any updates along the way.

Can I call and request services for someone else?

Yes. You can schedule locksmith service on behalf of a family member, friend, employee, or tenant. We’ll simply need the appropriate contact information and confirmation that the person on-site is authorized to receive service.

PAYMENT QUESTIONS

What is a Service Call?

A service call is the fee that covers a locksmith traveling to your location, assessing the situation, and providing the requested service. If additional work, parts, or hardware are needed, your technician will explain the available options and any associated costs before beginning the job. We believe in transparent pricing, so you’ll always know what to expect before any work is performed.

Is there a fee for cancelling my service?

If you need to cancel your appointment, we kindly ask that you notify us as soon as possible. Cancellation fees may apply if your technician has already arrived at the service location or is actively en route. If you have questions about our cancellation policy, please give us a call and we’ll be happy to explain how it applies to your appointment.

Can I pay for the services over the phone?

Yes. We accept all major credit and debit cards, and payment can be made securely over the phone when applicable. Depending on the type of service, payment may also be collected by your technician upon completion of the job. If you have questions about payment options, our team will be happy to assist you before your appointment.

Do you provide estimates before starting work?

Yes. Our technicians will assess your specific situation and explain the available options before beginning any work. You’ll receive clear, upfront pricing in writing and will be asked to approve and sign the estimate before any work begins. We believe in complete transparency, so you’ll always know the cost and scope of the service before work starts.

Can I schedule an appointment for same day service?

Yes. We offer same-day appointments whenever availability allows. If you need locksmith service as soon as possible, give us a call and our team will check the next available appointment in your area. We’ll provide an estimated arrival window and keep you updated throughout the scheduling process.

Can I schedule services for a future date?

Absolutely. Whether you’re planning a lock rekey after moving, coordinating service for a rental property, scheduling commercial lock work, or replacing lost keys, we’re happy to schedule appointments in advance. Simply let us know your preferred date and time, and we’ll do our best to accommodate your schedule.

Do I need to be present during the appointment?

In most cases, yes. The property owner or an authorized representative should be present during the appointment to provide identification, approve the work, and sign the estimate before service begins. If you’re scheduling service for someone else, let us know ahead of time so we can explain any additional requirements.

    🏠 RESIDENTIAL LOCKSMITH QUESTIONS

Should I rekey my locks or replace them?

In many cases, rekeying your existing locks is a cost effective way to improve your home’s security without replacing the entire lock. Rekeying changes the internal pins so old keys no longer work while allowing you to use a brand-new key. If your locks are damaged, outdated, or you’re looking to upgrade your security, replacing the locks may be the better option. Our technicians can inspect your existing hardware and recommend the best solution for your home.

How long does it take to rekey a lock?

The time required depends on the number of locks being serviced. Most standard residential rekey appointments involving 1 or 2 locks can often be completed in about 60 to 90 minutes, while larger homes with multiple locks may take longer. Before beginning any work, your technician will assess the locks, explain your options, and provide an estimated completion time.

Can all of my locks use the same key?

Yes, in many cases they can. If your locks are the same brand and compatible with one another, we can often rekey them so a single key operates multiple doors throughout your home or business. If your locks are different brands or incompatible models, our technician will explain your options and recommend the best solution to achieve the level of convenience and security you’re looking for.

Can you repair a lock instead of replacing it?

Absolutely. Not every lock needs to be replaced. If your lock is sticking, difficult to turn, or isn’t functioning properly, we may be able to repair it and restore proper operation. We’ll inspect the lock first and recommend the most practical and cost effective solution.

What should I do after moving into a new home?

One of the first things you should do after moving into a new home is have the locks rekeyed or replaced. You never know how many copies of the previous keys may still exist. Rekeying your locks gives you peace of mind knowing only you and the people you authorize have access to your home.
